About this course
F-Gas Category 4 would be a perfect start to a refrigeration career. This City & Guilds accredited qualification allows qualified personnel to carry out routine maintenance including 3/6/12 monthly required leak checks while also carrying out vital servicing to keep clients equipment running at maximum efficiency and leaving the Cat 1 engineer free to carry our other clients works.

Upon successful completion of this City & Guilds level 2 award in F-Gas and Ozone-Depleting Substances (ODS) Regulations qualification, students will meet the legal requirements to work on both refrigeration, air conditioning and the DX side of a heat pump system.
NOTE:
Full PPE will be required although we do hold stock of certain items. Long sleeved tops and trousers will be required.
- 2 day course.
- 2 exams / One theory / One practical.
- Theory consists of a on line exam / 16 questions with 10 needed to obtain a pass. For the practical, this would consist of the student having to find a pre set leak on the system and using gauges and measurements to determine if system was undercharged.
